Spectacular Science Show for the Whole Family in Thyborøn

Experience an exciting Science Show featuring physics and chemistry at IlluScience Museum in Thyborøn – a fun and educational experience for both children and adults.

See what happens when a flower is lowered into liquid nitrogen at –196°C and freezes within seconds. Can a balloon inflate itself again? And how can a superconductor float above a magnet?

The show also includes fascinating experiments with CO₂ and dry ice. Along the way, the audience is invited to take part in an engaging and easy-to-understand discussion about CO₂, climate and science.

Poul Riis, a former physics teacher at Lemvig Gymnasium, presents the spectacular experiments and explains the physics and chemistry in an entertaining and accessible way, allowing the whole family to join in.

The Science Show lasts approximately 45 minutes and can be combined with a visit to more than 50 interactive illusions, experiments and activities at IlluScience Museum. It is an ideal family experience for both local visitors and holidaymakers staying in Thyborøn or along Denmark’s west coast.
