Get ready for a unique experience where hay bales and straw parasols set the scene for a festival filled with local love and a touch of magic.
Welcome to Vedersø Klit – a place where even the rooftops are thatched! Join us for a day full of delicious food, fun activities, and an atmosphere where romance blooms like wild heather on the moor. Free shuttle buses will take you from the parking areas to the festival grounds – running back and forth from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Tastings of pink grilled venison leg with pointed cabbage, roasted seeds, crème fraîche, and garlic mustard.

Workshop for kids: Make your own wild game kebab on a stick with yogurt and “funny onions”
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Falconer Frank Skaarup – Falconry show and storytelling
4:00 PM – 4:45 PM – Vedersø Sports Boarding School – Performance on the beach

There is the possibility of being picked up by the shuttle bus from 3 pick-up points, that will take you to the festival site for free:

The Evening Party:
As evening falls, fairy lights are lit in the large tipi, setting the stage for a festive highlight – with whole roasted suckling pig, porchetta, delicious sides, ice-cold draft beer, and live music. Let’s create unforgettable memories under the stars at the Straw Festival in Vedersø Klit!
