Biergarten Søndervig
Genuine German beer culture, hearty West Jutland service and festive traditions
When the beer taps open and the glasses clink in Biergarten Søndervig, it's the result of Jesper Nielsen and Lasse Rysgaard's passion for good beer and South German traditions, with a nice Danish twist.
Since 2014, this corner of Søndervig’s town center has been the place where Munich meets the West Coast. Frothy draft beer is served in large mugs, accompanied by delicious “beer food” and schlager music that creates a very special atmosphere. The staff put the icing on the cake, wearing traditional dirndls and lederhosen.
Bavarian master brewer Thomas Horacek’s house brands ensure the high quality of the beer, which is a big hit with locals and tourists alike.
Biergarten’s function room with seating for 60 people is the setting for countless parties and events where guests of all ages can enjoy the hosts’ many years of experience; always with the good atmosphere and the clinking glass in the center.
