Søndervig Beach
White sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. Just a 3-minute walk from the center, the last dunes rise and from there you can see beyond the North Sea and the beach at all times of the year. On the beach in Søndervig, there is plenty of space for the children to build sand castles and for the adults to lie around and swim. Here you don't have to lie like a "herring in a barrel" on a sunny day. The beach is long and wide with the many bunkers scattered at the water's edge.

The beach is never the same and changes from day to day. A storm from the west can change the beach in a few hours and the waves wash both amber, hollow stones, seashells and other exciting things onto the white sand. During the summer months, from Easter until after the autumn holidays, there is access to the beach via the terrain carpet, which makes it easier for everyone with walking difficulties, wheelchair users and prams to get down and feel the sand between their toes.
