TREASURE HUNT AND NATURE PLAYGROUND BY LYNGVIG LIGHTHOUSE
27. February | 11:00 - 16:00
An event every week that begins at 11:00am on Wednesday, repeating until 20. March 2019
Let the children amuse themselves in the beautiful nature playground and try the exciting treasure hunt that leads you around the area and helps you learn more about Lyngvig Lighthouse.
Fun treasure hunt around the lighthouse
You can get the treasure hunt map in the lighthouse keeper’s house, then go outside in the natural surroundings at the base of the lighthouse to find the answers to the questions. You will need to explore the playground and put your grey matter and balancing powers to the test on the balance tree stumps. You will discover why Lyngvig Lighthouse was built and how many people lived in the lighthouse keeper’s house in the olden days. For older children the treasure hunt is great fun on your own while younger children would enjoy the company and assistance of their parents to find the answers.
Nature playground with a maritime feel
The large playground is always accessible. It was inspired by the location of the lighthouse by the sea so the children can climb around in a huge whale skeleton or crawl up to the top of a pirate ship. There are four picnic tables where mom and dad can partake of their picnic food or they can buy something tasty in the lighthouse cafe.
