BORK VIKINGEHAVN
When you enter through the gate to Bork Vikingehavn, you step back in time 1000 years. You can walk around the reconstructed longhouses and see how the Vikings lived and worked with various crafts. Light a candle in the beautiful stave church or place an offering in the offering grove and see the handmade "Bork Tapet".
If you visit Bork Vikingehavn, when there is extra animation and living history, you get an experience for all the senses, and the children can try different activities. If you visit Bork Vikingehavn during the quiet periods, you will have time to immerse yourself in the beautiful craftsmanship and study the details of the Viking houses.
At Bork Vikingehavn, the children can experience the Viking age firsthand. Let the children sail with small Viking ships in the moat, dress up in Viking clothes, play Viking games and try their hand at the Viking playground.

There are several events during the spring and throughout the summer and in October the vikingehavn has extra vikings on the square who provide the living history.
Throughout the season, Bork Vikingehavn offers daily tours of German and Danish as well as a weekly tour in English. Remember that you are allowed to bring your dog with us, but it must be on a leash.
At Bork Vikingehavn you will find a large, beautiful museum shop with many Viking-inspired items. The museum also has one webshop
Living History
Bork Vikingehavn is part of the Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum, where you can experience history where it happened. The museum consists of a number of authentic buildings that all tell an exciting story about the life people have lived there over time and how the landscape has shaped it!
At the Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum, history is not just on display. Here you can experience LIVING HISTORY with all your senses - through animation, guided tours, children's activities and tours. With a weekly or annual pass, there is a discount for visiting several places of interest. Children and young people up to the age of 18 have free entry when accompanied by an adult. The weekly pass can be bought at the museum's visitor points, Ringkøbing tourist office and Hvide Sande tourist office.
